Expert: Dr. Nebart has a wealth of professional experience in financial management, leadership and governance at senior management and leadership levels. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration (Finance Option) from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, A Master of Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Nairobi, and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa. Further, he is a practicing Certified Public Accountant of Kenya, Certified Public Secretary of Kenya and an active member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya in good standing. Dr. Nebart is a holder of a valid practicing license.
Appointments: Dr. Nebart has been appointed and served as a Chairman to various Audit Committees for various institutions in the Public Sector. He, alongside the Chairman UN DT SACCO CPA, Bernard Koech received the best managed trophy from His Excellency president Uhuru Kenyatta during 2022 Ushirika day.
Technical Experience: Dr. Nebart’s experience is drawn from several assignments including: strategic planning, financial management, implementation of Board directives, monitoring and evaluation, Audit quality assurance, Human resource management and financial forecasting.
Career Progression: Dr. Nebart started his financial management career at Sheria Sacco Limited as an Accountant in 1989. He rose through the ranks to the position of a Manager before joining Uchumi Supermarkets Limited in 1993 as a Senior Accountant a position he held for ten years. In 2003, He was promoted to become the Manager of Uchumi Supermarkets Limited where He served for three years. In 2006, He joined Kimisitu Sacco Limited as a Manager a position He held up to 2008. Dr. Nebart joined United Nations Sacco Limited in 2008 as a Deputy General Manager-Credit and held the position for three years. In 2012 He joined Heritage Insurance Company Limited as a deputy manager for six months. Later, Dr. Nebart joined the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya as a Senior Manager, Compliance and Standards in 2016 and was promoted to Chief Manager Professional Services Division in 2017. He is currently working at UN Sacco as the Chief Executive Officer
