Profile

Dr. Waswa is the Chair of Business Administration and Management Department (BAM), School of Business, KCA University. Waswa has long work experience in both the corporate and academic fields. She is a lecturer of Entrepreneurship and Communication at KCA University. She has a keen interest in research and is an experienced trainer in business. She holds a Ph.D. in entrepreneurship (JKUAT), MSc in Entrepreneurship (JKUAT), and a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Kenyatta University. She is an educator with a strong background in Technical Education and a certified ILO SYB/GYB Trainer. She has served as a Business Advisor on several National Business Plan Competitions and participated in the validation of the curriculum for Practical Entrepreneurship Training (PET) sponsored majorly by ILO. Dr. Waswa’s current research focus is Entrepreneurial Ecosystem, Youth Entrepreneurship and Social Entrepreneurship.
