Profile

Dr. Nafula is the Chair of the Business Administration and Management Department (BAM), School of Business, KCA University. Nafula has long work experience in both the corporate and academic fields.  She is a lecturer of Entrepreneurship and Communication at KCA University. She has a keen interest in research and is an experienced trainer in business. She holds a Ph.D. in entrepreneurship from JKUAT, an MSc degree in Entrepreneurship and a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from KU. She is an educator with a strong background in Technical Education and a certified ILO SYB/GYB Trainer. She has served as a Business Advisor on several National Business Plan Competitions and participated in the validation of the curriculum for Practical Entrepreneurship Training (PET) sponsored majorly by ILO. Dr Nafula’s current research focus is on Entrepreneurial Ecosystem, Aligning human resource practice to contemporary human resource issues, understanding parenting from the perspective of the current dynamic family system, and how technical and vocational education agility leads to sustained youth employment.
